A leading care provider in Whitley Bay seeks a Housekeeping Assistant to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents. Responsibilities include cleaning various areas, following schedules, and supporting infection control. Candidates should have a positive attitude and attention to detail. Full training is provided, and inclusivity is prioritized in the workplace.

You’ll help create a clean, safe, and welcoming home. Your work will make a real difference every day. This is a full-time position of 30 hours per week.
You’ll take pride in your work and keep everything spotless. Whether you’re ticking off tasks or jumping in to lend a hand, you’ll do it with care and compassion.
Some housekeeping experience is helpful, but full training is provided. You’ll need to be organised, manage your time well, and work with attention to detail. Most of all, you’ll bring a positive attitude and be kind and respectful in every conversation — with Residents, visitors, and your team.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and therefore it is important that you are able to recognise the signs which may indicate possible abuse, harm or neglect in its different forms and know what to do if there are any concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in associated areas. You also have the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
