We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Band 3 Support Worker to join the state-of-the-art Autism Hub team on the beautiful Island of Guernsey, in the Channel Islands.

To note; a NVQ Level 3 qualification OR three years experience in a Learning Disabilities setting is required for this post and we regret that employer sponsorship is not offered with any Support Worker roles.

The Hub consists of eight bespoke bungalows for adults on the autism spectrum; a communal outdoor sensory garden area and a multi-purpose gym/sensory room. The Hub offers a person-centred autism-specific support package delivered by a specialist staff team to support the residents to live and thrive in their own homes, helping them to reach their full potential.

Please note; Guernsey has adopted the AfC banding system, but have applied their own salary scales. The current Band 3 salary range is £29,348 to £34,356 plus an annual bonus of £1,605 and higher unsocial hours enhancements; 40% evening/Saturday and 80% Sunday/BH. Annual leave starts at 36 days up to 42 days with full credit for NHS service for annual leave and sick leave.

• At least three years experience as a Support Worker in an Autism or Learning Disabilities setting.
• NVQ Level 3 qualification is desirable; if not held, it is expected to be completed as part of the role.
• Right to work in the UK or Guernsey (not requiring a new employer sponsorship).
• To hold a current, full UK driving licence.

• A higher-than-UK salary.
