Job summary
A leading transportation service provider in Leeds seeks a Service Delivery Shunter Level 2. The role involves ensuring trains are correctly marshalled, maintaining safety standards, and supervising a diverse team. Candidates should have supervisory experience, mechanical skills, and strong leadership qualities. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with safety regulations and depot instructions while maintaining personal and team safety. This position offers a vital role in delivering quality rail services.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a supervisory role.
- Basic Mechanical Skills required.
- Strong leadership and communication skills essential.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities needed.
- Knowledge of safety regulations is important.
- Must be able to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Clean driving license required.
Responsibilities
- Maintain competency in Isolations and carry out Isolations as required.
- Ensure Passenger Stock is formed correctly.
- Maintain knowledge of applicable Rules and Regulations.
- Perform tasks according to depot operating instructions.
- Ensure compliance with Engineering and Railway Group Standards.
- Ensure personal safety and that of others at all times.
- Maintain Depot premises in a safe and clean condition.
