A leading UK university is seeking a candidate to develop data analysis protocols and apply machine learning techniques. The successful applicant will collaborate with faculty and external partners, engage with stakeholders, and support software development. Candidates must hold a PhD in a relevant field and demonstrate strong analytical and programming skills. The role allows for remote working and flexible hours, with the position commencing on January 1, 2026.
Qualifications
- PhD in data science, chemometrics or a related field.
- Experience in chemometrics, machine learning, and software engineering.
- Strong analytical and programming skills.
Responsabilités
- Develop data analysis protocols for collection of data and quality assurance.
- Process and analyse data; produce output data and interpretations.
- Develop and apply multivariate analysis and classification algorithms.
- Collaborate with faculty members and external partners.

- Knowledge of healthcare data analytical requirements.
- Based at Lancaster University, with some opportunity for remote working and travel between collaborator sites.
- The post is available from 1st January 2026.
