A leading NHS Trust in Sheffield is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic oncology nurse to lead a research programme focused on the remote management of immunotherapy patients. In this Band 7 role, you will oversee daily operations, liaising with clinical and research teams while supporting patient engagement and data analysis. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic oncology nurse to be involved in the delivery of a research programme to assess the remote management of patients receiving immunotherapy.The post holder will lead, the remote intervention, responding to alerts generated by the patient self-report system. The post will involve assisting patients to use the technology as well as safety reporting for the study. The role will involve liaising closely with the multi-disciplinary clinical and research team involved in the E-IMMUNE research programme (e-immune.org.uk).
There is also the opportunity for an appropriate candidate to develop a PhD around the remote management of patients in the late effects setting, following completion of immunotherapy treatment., As a Band 7 Research Nurse you will play a pivotal role the delivery of the research programme, supporting patients and liaising with a team of skilled professionals. This position offers the opportunity to develop your research skills, influence patient care, and contribute to service development within a thriving, fast-paced environment.
