A leading energy company in the UK is seeking a Project Manager to oversee infrastructure projects aimed at achieving Net Zero targets. You will manage EPC contracts, ensure project compliance, and foster teamwork throughout all project phases. This is your chance to help make Net Zero happen by project managing the design and construction of new infrastructure that connects low‑carbon energy to the existing electricity transmission system, from initial design through to commissioning.

This project is from Grimsey – Norfolk, with the project office currently in Birmingham. There will be the expectation to travel several times a week – a full driving licence is essential.

Managing NEC supplier contracts with the support of the commercial team. You will draft contractual communications, including Project/Service Manager’s instructions.
Working with the supply chain to ensure and maintain accurate forecasting within portfolio variance limits, working to achieve monthly and yearly forecasts and delivering the projects Capex spend.

A competitive salary between £55,000 - £62,000 – dependent on capability.
As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%. The British Energy Security Strategy set out the Government's ambition to connect up to 50GW of offshore generation to the electricity network by 2030. Facilitating this ambition will require significant reinforcements to the onshore electricity transmission network. National Grid Strategic Infrastructure will make this happen.
