Are you a passionate and experienced nurse looking to specialise in nutritional care? We are seeking a Band 6 Nutritional Nurse Specialist to join our dedicated team at North Devon District Hospital (NDDH) for a 6-month fixed-term contract.

This Band 6 Nutritional Nurse Specialist post supports the delivery of expert nutritional care across inpatient and outpatient settings. The role involves assessing and managing patients requiring enteral and parenteral nutrition, supporting safe discharge planning, and working closely with the wider multidisciplinary team to improve service delivery and patient outcomes.

You will work alongside an established Nutrition Nurse, the Dietetics team, and the wider Nutrition Support Team across the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (RDUH), delivering expert care and support to patients requiring enteral and parenteral nutrition.
This is a dynamic and rewarding role where you will:
Were looking for a Registered Nurse with post-registration experience in acute care, who has expertise in managing enteral feeding tubes and demonstrates strong communication and organisational skills. The ideal candidate will be confident working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, with a clear commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and driving service improvement.
Working Pattern: 3 days per week, exact days to be agreed on appointment
