Job summary
A community housing organization based in the United Kingdom is seeking a Cleaner to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in communal areas. The successful candidate will have customer service skills and will be responsible for general cleaning, stock management, and participating in maintenance tasks. Role overview: This role requires a team player with flair and commercial ability, as well as the skill, energy and determination to help drive and develop the business alongside the General Manager.
- 24 days holiday per annum (plus 3 days for Christmas closure, 5‑day working week plus bank holidays, additional days after 2 years continuous service up to 5 days).
- Option to buy/sell up to 5 days extra leave per year.

- Carry out general cleaning of communal areas, preparing guest rooms and bedding for visiting customers.
- Order stock and carry out stock checks.
- Work independently and with onsite support staff from our Housing for Over 55s team.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Participate in reactive maintenance, planned and cyclical maintenance, property refurbishments, grounds maintenance, caretaking and estate services, building safety, compliance and more.
- Join our established and dedicated team of 600 colleagues in our Asset Management department.
- Reasonable standard level of literacy and numeracy skills to interpret and comply with risk assessments.
