Electrical Facilities Maintenance Technician needed in Newbury.

This company is seeking a motivated and experienced professional to join their dynamic team as a Facilities Maintenance Technician with an Electrical bias. About the Role

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for completing both planned and reactive maintenance tasks, as well as regular scenario testing to ensure the facility is prepared for any technical issues. You will work closely with other team members and suppliers, contributing to health and safety documentation and assisting with site visits. The Facilities Maintenance Technician role includes on-call duties, which will be incorporated after an initial training period to familiarise you with the data centre's operations. This position offers excellent opportunities for overtime and an on-call allowance.

Responsibilities

• Completing planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Assisting with site visits.
• Participating in on-call duties after training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in a relevant electrical discipline.
• Practical experience as a qualified engineer.

Required Skills

• Demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft operating systems.
• Experience with building management systems.
• Maintenance of environmental equipment such as HVAC, UPS, generators, and fire alarm systems.
• Strong team-oriented approach.
• Ability to provide technical advice and prioritise customer needs.
