Job summary

This role involves managing planned and reactive maintenance while ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in maintenance operations and hold a mechanical or relevant trade qualification. This position offers the opportunity to drive energy efficiency initiatives and oversee maintenance budgets and contractors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience leading maintenance operations in a large estate or public-sector environment.
• Mechanical background preferred, with electrical considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Estates & Facilities maintenance function.
• Manage planned and reactive maintenance programmes.
• Implement robust Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) and Health & Safety procedures.
• Oversee Building Management Systems (BMS), asset records, and CAFM system data.
• Drive energy efficiency and carbon-reduction initiatives.
• Oversee contractors, budgets, and projects.
