Robotics Technician - Data-Collection & ROS Automation
Job summary
A leading recruitment firm is looking for a skilled Robotics Technician to join a cutting-edge team in Bristol. You will ensure the smooth operation and optimisation of robotic systems, supporting high-quality dataset generation for machine learning. Ideal candidates will possess a degree in Robotics or a related field, with hands-on experience in robotic systems and familiarity with data-collection workflows. This role offers a hybrid working policy and a salary range of £40,000 - £50,000 based on experience.
Qualifications
- Degree in Robotics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Hands-on experience with robotic systems or automated hardware setups.
- Familiarity with data-collection workflows for machine learning or robotics.
Responsibilities
- Maintain continuous uptime of robotic systems and AI data-collection platforms.
- Configure and calibrate robotic systems for data-collection runs.
- Manage dataset collection, verification, labeling, and storage.
