The Data Science Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within their field and contributes to strategic direction by considering their application in their job and the business. • Conduct strategic data analysis, identify insights and implications, and make strategic recommendations; develop data displays to communicate complex analysis effectively.
• Deliver analytics initiatives addressing business problems, determining data needs, assessing effort, and establishing project plans.
• Consult with business clients to identify system specifications and solve complex system issues through evaluation of business processes, systems, and industry standards; recommend solutions.
• Lead system change processes from requirements to implementation; provide user and operational support of applications.
• Define system scope and goals for complex projects through research and understanding of business systems and standards.
• Facilitate communication between business leaders and IT; demonstrate sound communication and diplomacy skills for complex information exchange.
• Conduct workflow analysis, model business processes, develop use cases, test plans, and business rules; assist in user acceptance testing.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of supported business areas and engage partners to evaluate process improvements.
• Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders, including senior management.
• Identify risks impacting project delivery and develop mitigation strategies.
• Develop strategies to reduce costs, manage risks, and improve services.

• MBA or advanced degree in Information Systems, Business Analysis, or Computer Science.
• Significant experience with tools for statistical modeling of large datasets.
• Experience in Process Improvement or Project Management.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred.
