Stanton House is currently recruiting an Interim Auditor for a Large Logistics Business on a 3‑6 month contract. This role has arisen to support the finance team through a period of increased audit and reporting activity. The team is managing multiple workstreams and is seeking an adaptable, audit‑trained professional to provide immediate support.

• Start: ASAP
• Duration: 3-6 months (initially to end of March, with potential to extend)
• Working pattern: Predominantly remote with occasional travel
• Rate: Up to £575 per day Inside IR35

• Document and test balance sheet audit evidence in Blackline to support the delivery of key SOX controls
• Support the KPMG external audit
• Assist with the BDO audit
• Provide R2R support, including balance sheet analysis, reconciliations, and testing
• Handle day‑to‑day Blackline queries and changes
• Provide ad‑hoc technical accounting support where required

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
• Strong audit background, ideally Big Four trained
• Experience in independently testing and documenting audit evidence
• Solid balance sheet knowledge, including accruals and prepayments
• Exposure to large corporate or PLC environments
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and flex across multiple workstreams
• Strong communication skills and a hands‑on, adaptable mindset
