Strategic Finance Lead — Bid Modelling & Pricing Strategy
Job summary
A growing charity organization is seeking an Interim Finance Lead to support a crucial strategic bid on a part or full-time basis. This role involves leading cost and scenario modelling for bids, producing financial narratives, and working collaboratively with operational teams. Ideal candidates will have strong finance skills, especially within the charity sector. This is a four-month contract that offers the chance to make a significant impact during a crucial growth period for the organization.
Qualifications
- Experience supporting bids or tenders from a financial perspective, preferably in the charity sector.
- Strong costing and scenario-modelling skills.
- Ability to partner with operational leads effectively.
Responsibilities
- Lead on cost modelling and scenario modelling for bid decisions.
- Develop scalable pricing models with operational teams.
- Conduct competitor analysis to assess market positioning.
- Produce financial narratives for bids explaining assumptions.
- Deliver forecasting for medium-term financial impacts.
- Support VAT exemption processes related to bids.
- Provide strategic financial insights to stakeholders.
