Battalion is an independent creative digital agency, specialising in developing brands and digital experiences for global ‘tech for good’ clients. We are on the hunt for a talented Frontend Developer to join our small, fully remote team as a full-time Frontend Web Developer specialising in Shopify.

We are in search of a highly motivated individual with a genuine passion for web development. Your primary responsibility will involve creating and managing Shopify stores tailored to the unique requirements of our clients.

This role requires a strong grasp of customizing Shopify themes, ensuring optimal site responsiveness, and achieving maximum speed and scalability through effective optimization techniques. No, this role is designed for Frontend Web Developers with experience in Shopify. Given the high demand in the market and our rapidly expanding team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, including fully custom WordPress websites, React websites with Express JS and more. Comprehensive training will be provided. This presents an outstanding opportunity to advance your career and broaden your knowledge across multiple domains.

• Extensive expertise in Shopify, with a specific emphasis on mastering Shopify Liquid.
• This is a client‑facing role and you must be a good communicator.
• Ability to scope projects.
• Advanced knowledge of front‑end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with CSS preprocessors like SASS is advantageous.
• Demonstrated experience in developing custom Shopify themes and enhancing existing ones.
• Proficiency with version control systems, particularly git.
• Exceptional problem‑solving skills paired with meticulous attention to detail.
• Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities to facilitate effective collaboration.
• Additional experience with PHP, Blade, WordPress, React JS, Next JS, and Express JS is a plus but not mandatory.

Salary : £45,000 - £65,000
