Job summary
A tech recruitment firm is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build scalable, AI-powered solutions. The role involves backend and frontend development with Python and React/Next.js, as well as AI integration and data engineering. Candidates should have over 5 years of full-stack experience, strong AWS skills, and a proactive mindset. This is a remote role for candidates residing in the UK.

- Build and maintain scalable APIs and services using Python (FastAPI).
- Develop responsive, high-performance user interfaces with React/Next.js.
- Connect to LLMs and ML services, supporting prompt engineering.
- Handle structured and unstructured data, build ingestion pipelines.
- Influence technical decisions and contribute to scalable design.
- Promote best practices in testing, CI/CD, code reviews.

We're supporting them in hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help shape the technical vision and build scalable, AI-powered solutions from the ground up. This is a hands-on role where you'll work across the stack, solve real customer problems, and play a key part in their growth journey.
- Backend Development: Build and maintain scalable APIs and services using Python (FastAPI), integrating with AI models and data platforms.
- Frontend Development: Develop responsive, high-performance user interfaces with React/Next.js.
- AI Integration: Connect to LLMs and ML services (e.g., OpenAI, AWS Bedrock), supporting prompt engineering, embeddings, and vector databases.
- Data Engineering: Handle structured and unstructured data, build ingestion pipelines, and design efficient schemas (Postgres/NoSQL).
- Architecture & Design: Influence technical decisions and contribute to scalable, modular system design.
- Code Quality: Promote best practices in testing, CI/CD, code reviews, and documentation.
- Innovation: Explore and recommend new tools, frameworks, and approaches in full-stack and AI development.
- 5+ years in full-stack development
