Overview

India (Remote-First)

About Us

Our leading SaaS-based Global Employment Platform enables clients to expand into over 180 countries quickly and efficiently, without the complexities of establishing local entities. At G-P, we’re dedicated to breaking down barriers to global business and creating opportunities for everyone, everywhere.

Our diverse, remote-first teams are essential to our success. We empower our Dream Team members with flexibility and resources, fostering an environment where innovation thrives and every contribution is valued and celebrated.

The work you do here will positively impact lives around the world. We stand by our promise: Opportunity Made Possible. In addition to competitive compensation and benefits, we invite you to join us in expanding your skills and helping to reshape the future of work.

At G-P, we assist organizations in building exceptional global teams in days, not months—streamlining the hiring, onboarding, and management process to unlock growth potential for all.

About The Position

As the Principal Product Manager for our Global Payroll platform, you will be a visionary leader responsible for defining the product's strategy and roadmap in order to successfully complete a POC. You will then guide the development and continuous improvement of a global payroll product that is central to our business, empowering our clients to efficiently manage their global workforce and payroll operations.

This is a high-impact position focused on building the platform to meet the growing needs of our clients and the evolving global market. You will build consensus with senior management for your product's vision and plans, and you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and legal, to deliver innovative, compliant, and scalable solutions.

What You Will Do

Product Vision and Strategy

  • Define and articulate a clear product vision and strategy for the Global Payroll platform, aligning it with company objectives and market trends.
  • Develop a long-term roadmap focused on innovation, user experience, scalability, and compliance.
  • Become the subject matter expert for your domain by developing a comprehensive understanding of functional capabilities, limitations, user scenarios, and business value.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Leadership

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, sales, customer success, operations, and legal, to ensure alignment on product goals.
  • Lead and inspire cross-functional teams to deliver impactful results.
  • Influence business and product strategy based on market opportunity, competitive intelligence, and customer input.

Product Enhancement and Development

  • Lead efforts to enhance platform features that streamline global payroll processes, including onboarding, management, and reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, integration with third-party tools (like HRIS systems), and user experience improvements.
  • Champion a user-centric approach to development by conducting market research, client interviews, and user testing to validate product ideas.

Compliance and Risk Management

  • Ensure the platform remains compliant with evolving labor laws, payroll regulations, and industry standards across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Partner with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risks and ensure the platform supports all regulatory requirements.

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Use data and analytics to measure platform performance, track user engagement, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Define success metrics for the platform, including KPIs related to revenue, user adoption, retention, and operational efficiency.
What We Are Looking For
  • Extensive Product Management Experience: 8+ years of experience in product management, with a significant portion at a senior or principal level, ideally within B2B SaaS platforms. Demonstrated success in owning a product from ideation to launch, managing both strategic vision and tactical execution.
  • Strategic and Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to think strategically about product direction while also diving deep into data and user insights to inform decisions. Strong analytical skills with experience using product data, metrics, and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional Leadership and Collaboration: Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and designers. Strong collaboration skills, with experience working closely with engineering, sales, customer success, and legal/compliance teams.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: A track record of championing customer needs and translating them into meaningful product enhancements. Experience with user research, persona development, and testing new ideas to validate and refine product direction.
  • Strong Communication and Influence: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A natural ability to build relationships and influence across departments without direct authority.

We will consider for employment all qualified applicants who meet the inherent requirements for the position. Please note that background checks are required, and this may include criminal record checks.
