A community-focused organization in Highgate is seeking a dedicated Career Coach to support individuals in transitioning into employment and educational opportunities. This full-time permanent role involves delivering personalized guidance, fostering relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring participants' success in achieving their goals. Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal skills and relevant qualifications, contributing to the organization's mission of enhancing lives and promoting inclusion.
Weachievethis in two ways. First we improve lives on the frontline through delivery of public services. Secondly, we useour knowledge to change 'the system', to fix the complex web that can trap and disempower those it was set up to help.
Where you fit in
Working within our Employability division, this is a remote and outreach-based role. You will be an experienced Career Coach working within local communities to support service users to progress into apprenticeships, employment, education and training opportunities.
Recruit, engage, and onboard participants into employability programmes within set timescales, providing high-quality Information, Advice and Guidance throughout.
Deliver personalised employability support, including mindset and confidence development, strengths-based interview preparation, job-search assistance, and creation of CVs and application materials. Match participants to opportunities by shortlisting, preparing job packs, arranging interviews, and supporting applications for jobs, apprenticeships, and work experience.
Provide sustained in-work support, maintaining regular contact to ensure participants achieve and maintain employment or apprenticeships for at least six months.
Work collaboratively and operationally, contributing to job fairs, workshops, community partnerships, and ensuring effective use of case management systems, timely communication, and compliance with all contractual and organisational requirements.
Maintain professional standards, including safeguarding, health and safety, equality and diversity, continuous self-development, and undertaking any other relevant duties..
