• Conduct external and internal security patrols and conduct routine tests of security equipment.
• Accurately maintain all logbooks and records ensuring all paperwork is completed in a timely fashion and conduct effective handover procedures.
• Record and report all faults health and safety hazards and unsafe working practices to management.
• Monitor and escort visitors and staff within secure zones around the site. Keeping vigilant ensure health and safety procedures are always followed.
• Display an outstanding level of customer service and the highest standard of personal presentation to maintain the image of Securitas and the customer.
• Undertake any other duties as requested by Management.

• Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history.
• Hold British Nationality and have lived in the UK for the last 10 years (due to the nature of clearance required for this site).
• Valid current SIA license.
• Full UK driving license with access to a vehicle (and willing to travel between sites mentioned above).
• Demonstrate full dedication and commitment to engaging in and completing the thorough DV clearance process.
• No current criminal convictions.
• Prior experience as a Security Officer in the security industry.
• Proficient in report writing to document incidents and reports clearly and accurately.
• Proficient in both speaking and written English and the ability to convey information to a third party in a concise manner.
• Good attention to detail and have a fair knowledge of IT and access control systems.
