Job Description

Kenna Recruitment has an opportunity for an experienced Document Controller to join a leading Fit Out Contractor on a freelance basis for the next 12 months on their project in Islington, with a successful rate of new tenders coming in and the potential to be taken on permanently.

To provide support and aid the successful delivery of the allocated scheme(s) whilst maintaining the highest possible standards and relationships with clients.

1. Provide support to line manager / Design Manager
2. Collate, input, and keep up to date Viewpoint (CDE), R Drive, Smart Waste, Work Wallet on a daily basis
3. Be the first point of contact for visitors to the site or office and handle telephone calls as required
4. Support other team members to achieve successful project delivery
5. Aspire to the highest standards of quality, service, and business performance
6. Address difficult issues early by promoting early resolution to problems
7. Allocate incoming mail and correspondence to the correct staff members and issue post externally via Royal Mail website as required
8. Collate and update tracking documents/database
9. Prepare and maintain tracking documents for tenders
10. Arrange necessary stationery for the office as required
11. Perform any other duties related to the objectives of the company or team, or contributing to individual development

• Good level of either Viewpoint or Asite, with minimum of 4 years' experience
• Construction experience on-site
• Minimum of five years' experience in a similar role
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office

Day rate: £150 - £190
