This is a pivotal, high-profile role for a finance leader to drive significant change and growth within Morrisons' Logistics division. This position is based in Hilmore House and reports to the Head of Finance - Logistics.

  • Responsibilities:

    • Business Partnering: Ability to serve as a key business partner to the logistics leadership team and third party logistics provider.
    • Financial Reporting & Control: Accountability for accurate financial reporting and control, including weekly reporting, KPIs, budgets, and forecasts.
    • Strategic Insight: Ability to deliver accurate insight to challenge performance and drive improvements.
    • Cross-functional Collaboration: Cross-functional business partnering across the business.
    • Budget Management: Accountability for control over the divisions budget, outturn, and forecast.
About you

We need an experienced, proactive finance leader with a professional qualification such as CIMA, ACA, or ACCA. More importantly, we're looking for someone who has a proven track record of leading a team and driving significant business change projects in a large, complex organisation.

You'll also bring
  • Proven ability to build relationships at all levels and deliver results.

  • Capacity to work quickly and manage multiple complex priorities at the same time.

  • Being naturally inquisitive and willing to question assumptions ("not afraid to ask 'why'").

  • A drive to lead change and constantly seek improvement opportunities.

  • Experience or understanding of supply chain and distribution is considered beneficial.
