At Home Instead Leek & Moorlands, we know how important it is for people in our local community to live where they feel most comfortable - at home. We are looking for caring, compassionate individuals to help us support others to stay independent in their own homes in Bakewell, Derbyshire.

We have shift options for 7am - 4pm, 4pm - 9pm, or 9pm - 7am.

We match our Care Professionals and clients together so some memorable connections can be established. All initial calls with a new client will be introductions supported by another colleague, allowing you to get to know your client and their needs.

Please note, to be eligible to apply for this vacancy, you must live within 10 miles of Bakewell.

Responsibilities as a Care Assistant:

• Support with personal care tasks such as toileting and showering
• Perform household tasks such as light cleaning and tidying
• Respond to your clients' needs
• Ensure transparent communication with clients and loved ones, offering first-rate care and comfort
• Write accurate daily notes, maintaining strong communication with the office
• Administer medication and record appropriately

Requirements:

• Previous care experience is required due to the clients' needs
• You must be reliable and punctual to ensure we can continue to provide excellent service
• You must live in or near Bakewell
• Must have a caring, friendly personality
• Willing to travel to our office in Leek for training and meetings
