Job Title: CBT Therapist - Brand New Residential Recovery Service

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Location: North West London - onsite

Contract Type: Permanent

Qualifications: BABCP Accredited

Compass Associates are proud to be partnering with a leading provider of mental health and addiction services on the launch of a brand-new, flagship residential therapy centre in North West London.

This modern, non-medical service offers structured, evidence-based support for individuals recovering from both substance and behavioural addictions - built around compassion, connection, and clinically robust treatment models.

We’re currently seeking an experienced and accredited CBT Therapist to help shape this pioneering model of care from day one. Your Role at a Glance:

As a CBT Therapist, you’ll play a key role in delivering both 1:1 and group therapy as part of a therapy-led, non-12-step programme. You'll support clients through tailored cognitive behavioural interventions that foster resilience, relapse prevention, and long-term wellbeing.

You’ll work closely with colleagues across the multidisciplinary team to guide care plans, deliver structured sessions, and help shape client journeys from admission through to discharge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver thorough CBT assessments and evidence-based treatment plans
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions focused on addiction and recovery
• Contribute to client reviews, MDT meetings, and collaborative care planning
• Maintain accurate clinical records and meet governance standards
• Engage in ongoing clinical supervision and reflective practice

What We’re Looking For:

• Full BABCP Accreditation
• Experience working with addiction, mental health, or complex presentations
• Experience in delivering CBT interventions in individual and group formats
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for ethical, trauma-informed, client-focused care
