Senior Marine Claims Adjuster – Lead Hull, Cargo & Liability
Job summary
A leading insurance recruitment firm is seeking a Senior Claims Adjuster specializing in Marine claims to manage the syndicate's lead and follow US and International Marine Hull, Cargo, and Liability claims. The ideal candidate should have strong negotiation skills with clients, brokers, and lawyers, and the ability to provide technical guidance to team members. This role includes travelling overseas when necessary and collaborating with underwriters and external claims administrators. Competitive salary offered.
Qualifications
- Experience handling Marine claims for syndicates.
- Strong negotiation skills with clients, brokers, and lawyers.
- Ability to provide technical guidance to team members.
Responsibilities
- Manage the syndicate’s lead and follow US and International Marine Hull, Cargo and Liability claims.
- Attend internal class reserve meetings with underwriting and actuarial.
- Provide feedback to underwriters on claims issues and risk information.
