Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the application of Flight Deck methodologies to drive improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC), with safety as the top priority
  • Coach, drive and lead Lean behaviours, principles, and tools across operational or functional area. Drive cultural transformation resulting in step-change in operational business metrics
  • Facilitate workshops, Kaizen events, and training sessions to build Flight Deck capabilities across the business
  • Champion change across the organization to foster the growth in Lean culture
  • Analyse processes to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions aligned with lean principles
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by engaging employees at all levels and encouraging problem-solving behaviours
  • Ensure sustainability of improvements through standard work, documentation, and regular audits
  • Act as a change agent to challenge the status quo and inspire innovation within the Flight Deck framework.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Demonstrable experience of lean deployment and execution within a manufacturing environment
  • Significant understanding of lean/continuous improvement principles and tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making
  • Comprehensive experience in delivering presentations with the ability to influence and engage teams at all levels
  • Significant communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across all levels of the organisation
  • Experience in project and change management
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong technical skills.
