Job summary
A leading FE College in Essex is looking for an Interim HR Adviser for 3 months at £19 per hour. The role involves providing HR guidance, managing employee relations issues, and supporting change projects. Ideal candidates will have experience as an HR Generalist or Adviser in fast-paced environments. This position offers hybrid working arrangements.
Qualifications
- Experienced HR Generalist or HR Adviser dealing with complex employee relations.
- Ability to support managers with change projects effectively.
- Experience in a fast-paced operational environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and advice to departments across the college.
- Support employee relations queries including grievance and disciplinary procedures.
- Ensure that probations and absences are tracked and processed.
Skills
Interim HR Adviser, 3 months - Education Sector - Essex with hybrid working - £19 per hour. This is an exciting opportunity for an immediatley available HR Adviser to join a leading FE College based across Essex.
- Reporting into the HR Business Partner you will be responsible for providing guidance and advice to all departments across the college.
- Supporting all employee relations queries including capability and conduct issues, grievance and disciplinary procedures.
- Working closely with the HR Associate to ensure that probations, absences and changes to contracts are tracked, recorded and processed.
- Taking a lead role in embedding the health & wellbeing strategy.
- Assisting the HR Business Partner in key areas such as change management, organisational design, employee engagement and talent analytics.
- Coaching, mentoring and offering advice to both your peers and junior employees.
- You should be an experienced HR Generalist or an HR Adviser with a track record of dealing with complex employee relations issues, supporting managers with change projects and providing effective HR advice and guidance.
- You will have experience of working in a fast paced operational environment ideally within the education sector however this is not essential.
- You must be happy to travel between a couple of sites.
