A Geotechnical and Environmental Consultancy based in the Midlands is seeking an enthusiastic Engineering Geologist to join their team on various ground investigation projects. The role requires relevant degree-level education and experience in ground investigation, along with a proactive attitude and enthusiasm to learn. The successful candidate will receive dedicated support and specialist training from a consultancy with nearly 30 years of industry experience.

Responsibilities include applying university knowledge to geotechnical and geo-environmental projects, carrying out ground investigations, desktop studies, writing reports, soil logging, preparing samples, inputting field data, and working on drilling rigs, all supported by senior team members.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Earth Sciences, Environmental Science, Geoscience, or a related field (Master's preferred)
• Industry experience (desired)
• A full, clean UK driving license
• The ability to work independently and within a team
• The right to work in the UK
• Be commutable to Coventry
