Geophysicist - Ground Investigation

Location: Glasgow

Permanent Role

£33,000 to £40,000 per annum

An established and growing consultancy in Glasgow is seeking a Geophysicist to support a diverse portfolio of ground investigation projects across Scotland and the wider UK. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with solid geophysical survey experience—particularly Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR)—to take on a key technical role within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

The successful Geophysicist candidate will contribute to the planning, execution, and interpretation of geophysical surveys for infrastructure, environmental, and development projects. Core responsibilities of this Geophysicist role include:

  • undertaking GPR surveys
  • analysing subsurface data
  • producing high-quality technical reports
  • supporting project managers with the delivery of site investigations
As a Geophysicist, you will have the opportunity to work closely with engineers, geologists, and environmental specialists to ensure robust, reliable data informs project decisions.
