An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced General Legal Counsel to join a forward-thinking, fintech business. This standalone position offers a unique chance to work closely with the executive team, shaping legal strategies and providing counsel on a range of issues.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide legal advice and support to the executive team and other departments.
2. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
3. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
4. Manage legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
5. Oversee any litigation and dispute resolution processes.
6. Develop and implement legal policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

1. Qualified solicitor or barrister with relevant experience in a corporate legal environment.
2. Strong understanding of fintech regulations and compliance.
3. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
4. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
