Job summary

Ideal candidates will have at least 8 years' PQE and experience in tech, SaaS, or financial services environments. This role offers hybrid working with three days in the office.

We are working exclusively with a high-growth global technology company and seeking an experienced commercial/corporate lawyer to lead its legal function. Operating across the UK and internationally, the business provides software solutions to clients in highly regulated industries, mainly financial services, and is backed by a supportive, people‑focused culture. This role offers the opportunity to shape the legal strategy of a dynamic international organisation while partnering closely with senior leadership.

The successful candidate will be leading the legal function globally and providing strategic guidance to senior stakeholders across the business. The role includes drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial/IT contracts and broader legal matters including employment, IP, real estate, compliance and litigation as well as corporate governance. You will have the opportunity to grow a legal team and contribute towards the organisational strategy and risk management at a pivotal time of growth for the business.
