Consultant Psychiatrist 10PAs
The SWLSTG Trust is seeking a consultant psychiatrist for the community mental health teams called North Kingston IRH (Integrated Recovery Hub) and Kingston SPA (Single point of Access). This is an established post. The vacancy has arisen because of the substantive postholder’s reducing their PA’s. This position is working across two teams: 3 PAs in Kingston SPA (Assessment team) and the remaining 7 PAs in North Kingston IRH (Generic CMHT).
This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and dynamic consultant psychiatrist to join these well-functioning teams with strong clinical leadership. The role will provide a diverse experience of assessing new patients and managing patients with serious mental illness (SMI) in medium to long term.
South West London and St. Georges Mental Health Trust values its staff and invests in their career progression and development. The Trust is the provider of the full range of mental health services in South West London, established in 1994 and now serving a local population of over 1 million people across the Boroughs of Kingston, Merton, Richmond, Sutton and Wandsworth.
The post-holder will provide medical leadership to North Kingston IRH and Kingston SPA. The Consultant will work closely with both Team Managers and other consultant colleagues to ensure a safe, efficient and effective service that meets the Trust’s Key Performance Indicators.
