Domestic Gas Engineer
Job summary
A heating service company is looking for experienced domestic breakdown and service engineers in the Bristol area. The ideal candidates must be able to diagnose faults in domestic gas heating systems, perform safety checks, and possess the necessary ACS accreditation. With a salary range of £43,000-£48,000 per year plus overtime, this is a permanent, full-time position with opportunities for motivated individuals to work unsupervised.
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in Boiler and Heating Breakdown.
- Full UK Driving license required.
- Current ACS accreditation needed.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults on domestic gas heating boilers and hot water systems.
- Perform servicing procedures and gas safety checks.
- Be part of an On-Call Rota.

South West Heating Services Ltd are currently recruiting experienced domestic breakdown and service engineers to work in private homes in the Bristol Area

The role will require the engineer to be confident in diagnosing faults on all types of domestic gas heating boilers and hot water systems. The engineer will also need to have a good understanding in servicing procedures and be able to carry out gas safety checks.
Candidates should have:
- Strong Customer Service and communication skills.
- Motivation and be able to work unsupervised.
- The ability to problem solve.
- Experience using a multimeter.
- Experience in all areas of Gas Safety, System and Boiler Diagnostics including repair.
- Applicants will need to hold a current ACS accreditation in CCN1, CEN1, WAT1, CENWAT, CPA1, CKR1, HTR1. Applicants may be considered if they hold CCN1 and CENWAT1 only. The successful candidate will also be required to be part of an On-Call Rota.
Full UK Driving license also required.
