The role involves crafting compelling proposals and achieving income targets while working in a hybrid environment. The ideal candidate has a strong track record in fundraising and excellent communication skills. We offer competitive benefits including 33 days of annual leave and a generous pension contribution.
This job is brought to you by Jobs/Redefined, the UK's leading over-50s age inclusive jobs board.
Responsible to: Senior Fundraising Manager
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Location: Standlake (near Witney, Oxfordshire) hybrid working at managers discretion.
Salary: £29,995 - £37,966
Normal Working hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week (some flexibility will be required to attend fundraising events)
As our Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Manager, you'll help secure the vital funding that transforms the lives of vulnerable children, families and communities. You'll play a big part in shaping our future - crafting compelling funding proposals, building lasting relationships with grant makers, and ensuring supporters feel truly valued.
You'll join a small, friendly and ambitious team at an exciting time of growth, with plenty of scope to make your mark, see the direct impact of your work and be part of an extraordinary story.
You're not just part of a team, you're part of our community. We'll make sure you're supported and valued at every stage, with benefits to make your journey with us even more rewarding:
You're motivated, creative, and love seeing the difference your work makes. You're organised and detail-driven, but also a natural relationship-builder who enjoys working collaboratively. Above all, you share our belief that every child deserves the chance to thrive.
The Mulberry Bush is a therapeutic community, registered as a children's home and a non-maintained residential special school. We also provide therapeutic outreach services to schools and other community-based organisations, along with research and consultancy services. Since 1948, we've been helping to transform the lives of children who have experienced trauma with specialist therapeutic services and fulfilling activities.
You're not just part of a team here, you're part of a family. Support echoes through our community, and your colleagues are always there to lend a hand or share a smile.
We believe we offer something special - and we'd love you to be part of it.
The Mulberry Bush is an equal opportunities employer. It is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable people and expects all staff and students to share this commitment.
If you're excited by this opportunity and have the skills and experience we're looking for, please submit your CV and a covering letter answering the question: why would you make an excellent Trusts & Foundations Fundraising Manager at The Mulberry Bush? (no more than one A4 side of paper).
