Job summary
A healthcare organization in Rotherham is seeking a full-time Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist to manage and lead a multidisciplinary team providing assessments and treatment for male patients with a primary diagnosis of mental illness. The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications and experience in forensic psychiatry, uphold high standards in patient care, and actively participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives. - Must have, or be eligible for, a CCST/CCT (or equivalent).
- Membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists is preferred.
- Has actively participated in clinical audit and quality improvement programmes.
Responsibilities
- Lead a multidisciplinary team in assessment and treatment of patients.
- Manage inpatient caseload, providing clinical leadership.
- Ensure compliance with Trust policies and procedures.
