Educational Psychologist - Specialist SEMH School

Academics Ltd are working with a highly regarded specialist SEMH school in Canterbury seeking a skilled and compassionate Educational Psychologist to join their dedicated multidisciplinary team. The school supports children and young people with significant Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, offering a therapeutic, holistic and highly personalised approach to education.

• Conducting high-quality psychological assessments and observations
• Collaborating with SENCOs, therapists, leaders and teaching staff to design effective support plans
• Delivering evidence-based interventions for pupils with SEMH needs
• Supporting staff through consultation, training and reflective practice
• Contributing to whole-school wellbeing strategies and the development of therapeutic approaches

• Has experience working within SEMH, trauma, or specialist education settings
• Is reflective, collaborative and committed to inclusive practice
• Communicates effectively and builds strong, supportive relationships
• Brings creativity, resilience and a child-centred mindset

£160 – £220 per day, Mon-Fri, 08:30 to 15:30, PAYE, Term time only

Degree in Psychology - BPS Accreditation
