Great opportunity to work as a Quality Control Operative for our client who uses the best traditional and modern growing techniques to grow high-quality, delicious tomatoes in the most environmentally friendly and sustainable way possible.

Staffline is recruiting Quality Control Operatives in Selby.

The rate of pay is £12.70 per hour.

Overtime is available after working 46 hours and is paid at £19.05 per hour.

This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, any 5 days out of 7, and the hours of work are:
- 6am to 6pm

Due to the location and hours, your own transport is required.

Your Time at Work

As a Quality Control Operative you will be responsible for:

- Monitoring the quality of the finished product and assessing if ready for despatch
- Completing all intake checks correctly against agreed specifications
- Completing online assessments and positive release of the product
- Reporting non-conformances or anomalies and monitor implementation of corrective actions
- Completing all associated technical documentation
- Completing daily shelf-life assessments for every customer in full, ensuring data is collected, saved and distributed where necessary.
- Completing Raw Material Assessments
- Monitoring production process and performing production checks to ensure all elements of the packaging process adhere to the detailed requirements.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will have excellent communication, a good level of spoken and written English, organisational and maths skills.

Applicants will have excellent attention to detail and good problem-solving skills, focus on continuous improvement, and a "get it done" attitude.

You will be competent in Microsoft Office and have a positive attitude towards Health and Safety.

Previous experience in Quality Control/Assurance and working in FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) is desirable but not essential.
