Currently, we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school in Kings Norton.

• Supervise students during lessons in the absence of the regular teacher
• Follow lesson plans and ensure learning objectives are met
• Manage and promote positive behavior in the classroom
• Provide individual support to students when required, ensuring their needs are met
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with SEMH needs
• Support the development and implementation of student intervention plans
• Liaise with teaching staff and support teams to ensure a consistent approach to student development

• Experience working with children, particularly those with SEMH needs, is highly desirable
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• A commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive learning environment
• Ability to remain calm and positive in challenging situations
• A flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of individual students
