Secondary Cover Supervisor

Start: ASAP / September 2025

Contract: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible

Salary: £114.62 - £137.72

We are seeking reliable, confident, and dedicated Cover Supervisors to join Milk Education to work with our partnership schools in the Sheffield area. This provides excellent opportunities for someone with experience working with young people who is looking to develop their skills in a school environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise whole classes during short-term teacher absences.
  • Deliver lessons provided by teaching staff, ensuring students stay engaged and follow the set work.
  • Manage student behaviour in line with the school's policies and procedures.
  • Provide feedback to relevant teaching staff regarding student progress and any issues that arise during cover.
  • Support the wider school team as needed, including during break/lunch duties or administrative support.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Previous experience working with secondary-aged students (in a school, youth work, or similar setting).
  • Confidence in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • A flexible and professional attitude.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • A passion for education and supporting young people.
