The Job People are currently looking for Production Assembly Operative's for our manufacturing client based in B35 - Castle Bromwich

Must have carpentry / joiner / framework / construction / labouring / production experience

Must be able to work 3 shift rotation, AM, PM and Nights to be considered for this role.

The ideal candidate will have experience with hand tools, power tools and possess mechanical knowledge.

This is a long term role, and there is every potential to gain a full time contract.

The chosen candidate must have previous experience working to targets within a manufacturing and production industry.

This role is full time only - no part time roles available.

Training provided - we ask for candidates with a can do attitude and willingness to learn.

Details of a Production Operative based in B35 Sutton Coldfield:

• Monday to Friday
• Monday to Thursday 06.00 - 14.00
• Early finish on a Friday. 06.00 - 13.20
• Monday to Thursday 14.00 - 22.00
• Friday 13.20 - 20.40
• Nights Sunday to Thursday 22.00 - 06.00 £14.49 per hour
• MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ALL 3 SHIFTS ON ROTATION
• Flexibility in shifts will be required to support busier periods. Potentially 12 hour shifts or additional night shifts. (premiums will be paid) or rotation AM & PM.
• Production Operative pay between £12.60 & £20.40 per hour.

As an Production Operative you will have the below experience:

• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
• Able to safely operate saws and cutting machines.
• Able to accuratley use a tape measure - we calculate in millimetres MM.
• Position parts and sub-assemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
• Follow company procedures and understanding of health and safety compliance.
• Understanding of Standard Operating Procedures.
• Previous experience as a carpenter, joinery, labouring or assembly.
• Ability to interpret assembly instructions and blueprints
• Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
• Attention to detail and precision in work
• Previous experience working to targets in a production environment.
• Able to count in CM's and MM's using a tape measure accurately.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Able to lift loads of up to 25kg.

As a Production Operative based in B35, Sutton Coldfield, you will be required but not limited to the below:

• Working on a production line follow set processes / instructions to build wooden frameworks
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks
• Using Air power tools and electrical saws.
• Follow assembly instructions and blueprints meticulously
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance
• Maintain a clean and organised work-space
• Working in a fast paced production environment.
• Able to work rotating shifts from 6am till 2pm, 2pm till 10pm, 10pm till 6am.
• Able to hit production targets on an hourly, daily and weekly basis.
• General house keeping ensuring all work areas are kept tidy.
