Senior Economist - Global Risk & Forecasts (Hybrid)
Job summary
A leading data and technology company is seeking a Senior Economist for a hybrid role in Nottingham. You will lead country risk assessments, analyze economic data, and present findings to clients. The ideal candidate has an MSc in Economics and strong experience in econometric modeling, R, and EViews. This position offers a salary of £55,000 per annum plus an attractive benefits package, including pension contribution and relocation allowance.

- MSc or undergraduate degree in Economics, Econometrics or a related discipline focused on macroeconomics, statistics, mathematics, and econometrics.
- Experience presenting economic and macroeconomic data.
- Relevant experience building econometric models and producing macroeconomic forecasts.
Responsibilities
- Lead country risk assessments and drive views in emerging markets.
- Data preparation, analysis, modeling, and forecasting.
- Prepare written analyses of trends in the UK economy and credit markets.
