Main Responsibilities
  • Preparing or assisting in the preparation of reports for various parties as may be required, though mainly for banks and other debt providers
  • Collecting, analysing and evaluating financial and operating information
  • Understanding complex financial models in Excel
  • Managing multiple loan portfolios
  • Collecting and analysing Borrower reports (rent rolls, operating statements, covenants etc.) and ensuring compliance with loan covenants
  • Supporting the drafting of presentations, memos or other pitch materials
  • Attending team discussions and partner meetings
  • Developing market knowledge such as; the terms of key leases, profiles of key tenants, market comparable, findings and conclusions from reports from third party advisors
  • Coordinating team efforts (internally and/or with affiliate offices or third-party advisors)
  • Review of financial statements (historically and/or on a pro forma basis)
REQUIREMENTS
  • At least 3 recent years of experience in a financial analysis and/or reporting environment in the commercial real estate, mortgage or related industry
  • A university degree (or significant work experience) in business, finance, accounting, economics or real estate
  • High proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel)
