An ecological consultancy is seeking a qualified leader to oversee high quality ecological work in Worcestershire. The role involves mentoring ecologists, improving business procedures, and contributing to important conservation goals. Applicants should have significant experience in ecological consultancy and a strong passion for wildlife conservation, along with excellent communication skills.
Salary: £40,000 - £46,000 depending on experience
Contract type: Permanent / Working hours: Full time
Location: Lower Smite Farm, Smite Hill Hindlip, Worcester & Droitwich, Worcestershire, WR3 8SZ
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to provide technical leadership within our consultancy, focusing on delivering and overseeing high quality ecological work.

You will work closely with our team of ecologists, mentoring and supporting them to develop their skills whilst maintaining strong technical standards. You will also work alongside the Business Manager in supporting the development of the consultancy business, identifying opportunities for growth and implementing procedures to improve efficiency.

The work of the ecological consultancy team plays a vital role in delivering our vision of a wilder Worcestershire where there is more nature everywhere for everyone. The postholder will play a key role in delivering the Trust’s three strategic goals, set out in our strategy to 2030, which are:
