Are you a seasoned and strategic business development professional ready to take the next step in your career? As our business development manager, you'll lead high-impact growth initiatives and play a key role in shaping our business development strategy across a dynamic corporate market.
Lead with influence: drive growth across the Bristol region
Strategic collaboration: partner with senior tax, audit and corporate finance leaders to unlock new markets and build high-value client relationships
Strengthen key accounts: take ownership of our most important client relationships, enhancing service delivery and deepening engagement
Shape the future: reporting directly to the chief marketing officer, you'll be a senior member of our 17-strong BD/marketing team, contributing to a collaborative, innovative and high-performing environment
What you'll be doing day to day
- Lead strategic business development initiatives in collaboration with tax, audit and advisory partners, aligned with our growth priorities
- Manage and optimise a robust business development pipeline, qualifying high-value opportunities and leads
- Design and execute BD and sector campaigns to engage senior-level prospects
- Oversee a portfolio of key client accounts, ensuring exceptional service and identifying opportunities for growth
- Work closely with client engagement partners to expand service offerings across existing relationships
- Mentor and coach colleagues across the firm to elevate their business development capabilities
- Provide expert guidance on proposal development, pricing strategies and pitch presentations
- Champion the use of CRM to track relationship-building activities and business development progress
- Facilitate strategic BD meetings with multidisciplinary teams to drive collaboration and innovation
About you
To thrive in this role, you'll need to:
- Bring substantial experience in business development within professional services
- Demonstrate outstanding communication, influencing and relationship-building skills
- Be confident in engaging senior internal and external stakeholders across multiple disciplines
- Excel at managing multiple priorities and performing under pressure
- Be a collaborative leader who inspires and supports others
- Hold a full driving licence and have access to your own transport
