Business Development Manager – Façades & Building Envelope

Office based: Liverpool Street 3 days / Chelmsford 2 days. Area to be covered: London & South East.

Remuneration: £60,000 - £80,000 negotiable + profit share EOY bonus. Benefits: Travel expenses & exceptional benefits package.

Responsibilities
  • Business Development / Relationship Builder position promoting the design, supply and installation of facades services.
  • Spend all time on specifications and influencing tier 1 contractors, architects, façade consultants and project quantity surveyors.
  • Average project sizes at £10m-£15m.
  • Act as technical consultant to contractors & specifiers in the early stages.
  • Target to win circa 6 projects per year.
  • Conduct CPD seminars.
Qualifications
  • Must have experience dealing with tier 1 contractors, architects, façade consultants and project quantity surveyors.
  • Ideally from a sub‑contractor but will consider someone working for a manufacturer with direct relationships to the route to market.
  • Ideally from the facades / building envelope market sector but will consider outside sectors if senior level experience with tier 1’s and architects.
  • Must be commercially astute.
  • Excellent planning, organisation, time management skills.
