A leading global health insurance company is seeking a Head of Sales to lead growth strategies and enhance sales channels in Egypt. The role requires proven sales leadership experience, a track record in achieving business targets, and strong communication skills. As Head of Sales, you’ll play a vital role in shaping our growth strategy in Egypt. You’ll lead a talented team, strengthen existing channels, and develop new ones to bring health insurance solutions to more people. This is your chance to make a real impact – driving retention, building strong partnerships, and ensuring every customer experience reflects the care and trust Bupa is known for.
Ownership for all business written by the Egypt team, contributing to the definition & execution of growth strategy
Strengthen and expand existing Sales channels by focusing on activities, pipelines and performance management
Develop new channels that will support Bupa’s growth ambition in terms of New Business and Number of Lives
Leadership of renewals to ensure necessary activities, learning interventions & support to enable a successful retention of customers
Identify and proactively manage different risks (including concentration risk and miss-selling activities), and ensure proper mitigation actions are in place
Contributes to a sales led approach to product, proposition & pricing for Egypt (key interface into supporting functions) to ensure retention results are maximised
Sales owner working in collaboration with marketing owner to drive/inform marketing activity & campaign management for retention and growth
Contribute to the identification of & delivery of initiatives to optimise portfolio performance delivering or exceeding growth requirements
Relationship and client management for key connections across segment (Distributor & Client)
Develop the skills and capabilities of those involved in Sales through coaching the team to ensure capability is optimised ensuring sales quality & efficient service delivered by our teams
Working hand in hand with different stakeholders (internal & external) to ensure NPS scores targets are achieved for micro moments related to Sales journeys
Ensure that all sales activities are completed in a compliant way, ensuring that the relevant governing bodies’ protocols are fulfilled
Proven experience in sales leadership within health insurance or financial services
Strong track record in achieving new business and retention targets
Ability to lead teams through change and growth
Commercial acumen with expertise in pricing and contract negotiations
Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills
Strategic thinker with a customer-first mindset
Knowledge of risk management and compliance in a regulated environment
