Your Impact:

We’re seeking a strategic new business hunter who is a commercially astute sales professional with exceptional presentation and pitching skills, capable of winning the hearts and minds of senior decision-makers and driving high-value growth.

Reporting to the UK Sales Director, you’ll be responsible for creating, developing, and closing new business opportunities within our Platinum client channel. You’ll lead (though not line‑manage) the Platinum sales function, collaborating closely with the Business Development, Commercial, and Design & Specification teams to deliver solutions that enhance client wellbeing, sustainability, and brand impact.

Some of your core responsibilities will include:

  • Own the hunt: Proactively prospect within your Platinum accounts – booking and leading high‑quality strategic appointments (via direct outreach and BD support).
  • Sell at senior level: Conduct persuasive, value‑led strategic discussions with senior stakeholders, positioning Planteria as a strategic partner, not just a supplier.
  • Deliver outstanding pitches and presentations: Create and deliver high‑impact, story‑driven proposals that inspire confidence and secure client commitment.
  • Create and close opportunities: Generate, nurture, and convert opportunities through disciplined follow‑up and commercial insight.
  • Collaborate to win: Partner with the Commercial and Design & Specification teams to shape client proposals and deliver standout solutions.
  • Champion creativity: Approve final proposals, ensuring they are bold, innovative, and perfectly aligned with client needs.
  • Deliver excellence: Ensure seamless handover to the Sales Support team, maintaining accuracy and client satisfaction throughout.
