Service Manager – We're looking for a Service Manager to join our client’s branch in Suffolk. You’ll be leading a busy team, keeping customers happy, and ensuring technicians deliver top-quality repairs on agricultural and horticultural machinery.
- Run the Service Department day-to-day
- Keep the team organised, motivated, and productive
- Look after customer relationships and manage expectations
- Keep an eye on budgets, reports, and performance
- Make sure communication flows smoothly between customers, techs, and management
- Experience with agricultural or horticultural machinery (a bonus but not essential)
- Previous management or supervisory experience in a busy environment
- Strong people skills – confident dealing with staff and customers
- Good with numbers and reporting
- Organised, proactive, and able to juggle tasks under pressure
- Clear communicator, both written and verbal
- Someone who can stay calm, discreet, and professional in tricky situations
- Self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative
