Overview

Service Manager – We're looking for a Service Manager to join our client’s branch in Suffolk. You’ll be leading a busy team, keeping customers happy, and ensuring technicians deliver top-quality repairs on agricultural and horticultural machinery.

What you’ll do
  • Run the Service Department day-to-day
  • Keep the team organised, motivated, and productive
  • Look after customer relationships and manage expectations
  • Keep an eye on budgets, reports, and performance
  • Make sure communication flows smoothly between customers, techs, and management
What we’re looking for
  • Experience with agricultural or horticultural machinery (a bonus but not essential)
  • Previous management or supervisory experience in a busy environment
  • Strong people skills – confident dealing with staff and customers
  • Good with numbers and reporting
  • Organised, proactive, and able to juggle tasks under pressure
  • Clear communicator, both written and verbal
  • Someone who can stay calm, discreet, and professional in tricky situations
  • Self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative
