My client is a leading global aerospace business based in Birmingham.

• Drive reliable and accurate standard costing within the plant, including daily costing updates
• Execute the annual cost roll for material, labour, and overhead
• Support new product development cost estimates and analysis
• Perform activities and analysis to improve overall accuracy of product cost
• Partner with ongoing cost reviews
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
• Complete monthly account reconciliations and financial performance analysis
• Monitor processes and controls related to financial transactions, recommending and implementing improvements with the Controller and business partners
• Work closely with non-finance team members to drive cost improvements and analysis in all production activities
• Participate in annual budget and quarterly forecasting
• Provide meaningful business analysis

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification
• Strong proficiency in Excel and good working knowledge of other office programs
• Strong analytical skills; experience working with large data sets is a plus
• Ability to work well in a cross-functional manufacturing environment
