A UK-based community support organization is seeking a Community Support Worker to provide guidance and support to participants. The role involves managing a caseload, ensuring effective case management, and collaborating with peer mentors. Ideal candidates will have experience in social care or the criminal justice sector, along with excellent communication skills. A competitive salary of £24,650 - £29,000 is offered, along with various benefits including 25 days leave and a pension plan.
We have exciting opportunity for CFO Evolution - Community Support worker to join our team. As a support worker, you will be responsible for duties for a caseload of participants in a community environment. You will start with the initial exchange and assessment with the participant and continue with them during their sentence by providing guidance and encouraging support. Interventions will be delivered one-on-one and through group work to assist participants in overcoming challenges, reintegrating back into their communities, and exiting the course. The initiative aims to establish safe spaces where people who have undergone rehabilitation may engage in a range of positive activities that increase social acceptance, improve general health, and provide the skills needed to meet daily obstacles. Our successful candidate will ideally have experience in probation/social care or experience working within the criminal justice sector, but we welcome applicants who are confident working with a diverse range of people from various backgrounds and circumstances and who can coach/mentor them. In return for dedication, knowledge, and commitment, we offer a competitive salary of £24,650 - £29,000 per annum (dependent on experience) with these benefits:
